Bansko lies in the South-western part of Bulgaria, at the tip of the Pirin National Park.

Once you arrive at the airport in Sofia or Plovdiv, there are a number of ways to travel to Bansko. Bansko lies two hours’ drive from Sofia. Quickest route is to take the main E79 south to Simitli, from where a well-marked east-bound turn leads over the Predela Pass to Bansko
